Super!!! This is the feedback I was hoping for
Let me know if you find issues using the app
Seems to be working like a charm, yesterday regeneration occurred (with these engines it's happening every 200-300 km) and everything went just fine. I will keep an eye on it and post if I have any useful feedback

Your picture is probably a part of the entire error message only, can you check again? The easier way to share the log is to copy it into the clipboard instead to take many pictures.
I was having difficulty with copy-paste whole error message. I hope here is the full of this error:

Unable to communicate with engine ECU even with OBD2 protocol.

Possible causes:
- Car ignition off
- ELM327 faulty or bad quality
- Car not OBD2 compliant

I checked again and I confirm that your ECUs respond using the standard 11bit ID, so your engine group can't be the beta we're styding.

What happens if you try another group? What's the error message? If it doesn't work I can't exclude an adapter quality issue.

As you can see in the previous messages, the new beta group works.

Allways the same on each profile.
Screenshot_20241014_113735_VAG DPF.jpg
ECU responds to OBD2 requests but not to CAN ISO-15765 requests.

Possible causes:
- engine not supported
- ELM327 faulty or bad quality

And this popup
Screenshot_20241014_113754_VAG DPF.jpg
As we write some year ago .. the adapter is good (V-GATE), because another app, (but i want to use your .. i have payed version but i cant use it .. - but to support you as developer)
and the another app Car Scanner has connectivity with engine ..

And you have here some information

I was trying with default setting "Read from ECU" and with that setting DTPA engine is not recognized. Now tried engine group 18 and it works.
Thanks.

Thanks, your pictures confirm you have to select any other engine group except the new 97 BETA because your ECU diagnostic uses the 11bit init protocol. Now we need to understand why the app can't read any data, neither the ECU information during the initialization. Car Scanner should save a log file of every live data reading, can you check and send me that file? It isn't in the Data recording section, you have to go in Settings > Adapter > Export log
You can send me in a private message if you don't want to share with everyone

Found something not correct in the init commands: your adapter rejects an AT initialization command because it probably doesn't have an ELM firmware at least v2.0, required to support that command.
The solution is to replace it with alternative and more compatible commands.

I'll do this change in the next release, tomorrow I should publish the update.

Checking your log file, thanks for sharing it, I see something strange because it contains both 11-bit and 29-bit lines. I need to go more deep in the analysis.
But first let's correct the init procedure.

Your engine seems to respond using the 11bit id protocol.
You should try any other engine group but not the 97 beta.

If you can find the engine code I can be more precise, anyway try every engine group from 1 to 22 and let me know.

My engine is DTUA Octavia 2023, but on DTUA does not work (group 18 If I remember correctly).
I will check all of the groups and let you know.

Hi,
I tried the last version 3.38.12 with beta 97 option/29bit protocol and the communication didn't work.
My car is Tiguan3 2024 TDI 193hp 4Motion engine:DXNB

Log:

La ECU risponde a richieste OBD2 ma non a richieste CAN ISO-15765.

Possibili cause:
- motore non supportato
- ELM327 difettoso o di scarsa qualità

Your log reveals a different ECU ID, it probably requires a new beta profile. I need to analyze it.
I see 4 different initialization, you confirm? First 2 without success, the last 2 contain answers from the ECU but the app isn't configured to consider them good (due to different ECU ID). What did you see on the screen? Were the ecu details visible at the bottom of the screen?

Yes, I made multiple connection attempts.
As soon as possible I make a connection again and try to capture the screenshots of the app

ECU responds to OBD2 requests but not to CAN ISO-15765 requests.

Possible causes:
- engine not supported
- ELM327 faulty or bad quality

Same problem :-(
How can u help you ? I have ELM OB terminal app .. i can send commands ..

I was going to post the logs from the ECU from versions 3,35,12 which still doesn't see DTUA but I see that the admin is already working on newer versions of the program, great, I'm keeping my fingers crossed
